About

Congress and BJP are the two major political parties in India.  Other than these two parties there are many parties “in waiting” - basically they are the King makers.

The topic of ‘Third Front’ comes up every time a government gets into trouble. Last year during the trust motion of Manmohan Singh govt parties started talking about the Third Front.

Third Front has many political head weights - ALL are PM in waiting. At times you don’t know who is in the Third Front and who is not. After the inauguration of the ‘Third Front’ in Tumkur (near Bangalore) Mayawati said she is part of Third Front only if everyone accepts her as the PM candidate.

Why a Third Front?

The prospects of the Third Front is like the stock market, it keeps going up and down (mostly down in our opinion). Congress and the BJP are the two parties which will get the highest number of seats individually. You hear a lot about BJP not being secular but when it comes to forming a govt don’t be surprised if Third Front breaks and forms the govt with BJP.

CPI-M quit UPA because of the Nuclear issue. But they are ready to work with the Congress again. How come? Simple, power.

Who Can Join Third Front?

Third Front is being projected as an alternative to Congress and BJP. No political party is permanent in this Front. It is like a train, people can board and leave whenever and where ever they want!

Are these Leaders Capable of Leading India?

Most of them are savvy and intelligent enough to lead the country but they may not have the numbers to hold on to the seat. People say if Third Front comes to power within 2 years we will witness this circus all over again.

These leaders are capable and intelligent but money+power is their major weakness due to which the country and ordinary citizens take a beating.

Is this Domain/Site for sale?

If the Third Front - indeed comes to power we will not want to sell this domain name but get into a ‘revenue sharing’ mode with these political parties ;-) Please note we are not talking about sharing “the revenues” from this blog, but they need to share “their” revenues with us :-)
