I have not changed my stance: Deve Gowda

Janata Dal-Secular chief H D Deve Gowda — who on Sunday said he would not support the United Progressive Alliance during the trust vote — cryptically said on Monday, “anything can happen tomorrow.” But he later clarified to rediff.com that he has not changed his stance and will vote against the UPA government in the trust vote.

Gowda, Mayawati join hands to oust government

Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) supremo and former prime minister H.D. Deve Gowda Sunday joined hands with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati in efforts to topple the UPA government. Addressing reporters after the Uttar Pradesh chief minister met him at his residence here, Gowda said: “The smaller parties will be meeting on July 23 to discuss the future programme and plan of action.
